A-Class Motorhomes
A-Class motorhomes are similar in size to coachbuilt motorhomes and are the ultimate in mobile living. Starting with just the chassis, the entire vehicle is designed for touring and living. The cab forms part of the living space with swivel seats and a drop down bed above.
The Mercedes based Hymer vans are probably the most well-known, but there are many other conversions available. They are expensive but suitable for full time living. There's all the same issues with parking and driving as with coachbuilt motorhomes but for comfortable travel they can't be beaten.
Pros:

- Designed from scratch for comfort and ease of use.
- Plenty of storage and living space.
- Double glazed windows and heating.
Cons:
- Huge to drive.
- Very expensive.
- Difficult to park, especially with big vans.
