Sorrento - Campania - Italy
Sorrento is a typical resort town, very busy and full of cafes, restaurants and tourist shops all bordered by the harbour. It's a great place to start excursions around the bay, to the islands of Capri and Ischia as well as the rugged Amalfi Coast.
The hills above Sorrento have fantastic views around the whole Bay of Naples, with the volcano Vesuvius towering over the towns on the other side of the water.
