Attractions in Slovakia
Across the Slovakian Karst region there are many caves - a series of these have been added to the UNESCO list. Six of these are currently open to the public while in neighbouring Hungary a further cave is open too.
The Demanovska caves are two showcaves, located at either end of an underground river and cavern complex hidden up a steep valley in the Low Tatra Mountains.
Levoca is the image of old Slovakia. Situated high on a hill, the walled town is apparently cut off from modern life. The central square is open and peaceful, surrounded by old artisans houses.
Set along a ridge in central Slovakia, Spiss Castle is Slovakia's largest castle complex and one of the largest in Europe.
